 At Maurer Log Homes (a division of Maurer Construction Ltd.), we've been building custom log homes for over 24 years now. We've built all kinds of homes, from cozy log cabins nestled away in a grove of towering pines, to massive log structures totaling over 16,000 square feet with towering rock faces setting the backdrop. Each home is built to meet and exceed the exacting standards that govern our industry. Over the years, we've been faced with every construction challenge imaginable: we've built on the edge of sheer cliffs; we've put homes up in incredibly remote areas; we've built homes to meet the unique demands of our customers. Each member of our team of log builders has worked in the industry for more than 10 years. Each is a dedicated craftsman, working with the finest logs selected from forests throughout British Columbia. Each log is peeled and crafted by hand. Year after year, we've gained an intimate knowledge of the unique characteristics of a log home and we know how to build them to last a lifetime. We understand how log homes, if carefully crafted, can create a home that's unparalleled for durability, warmth, character, and quality.
