Doing something right

They got the formula and they don't mess with it. Don't substitute, the menu is what they want to present, and its presented well (enough) for the prices. First in Toronto to use double zero flour in the pizza crusts - I understand they had to import it (with Queens Pasta?) themselves. Just good.

Terrible service and overrated

Toronto's obsession with Terrroni neverceases to amaze me. I have been there three times (friends want to meet there) and the service is impolite (we were refused a substitution, the food is overpriced and rather bland and not nearly as 'authentic' as they think. Will not go back

super tastey pizza..

PAULYWOOD! see all my reviews
this place is awesome because of their gourmet pizzas. everything is really affordable and i personally think its one of teh cities best. you have to try the nutella cake (its incredible). the service is slow but friendly and they aslo have an awesome patio outback which is great for the summertime

Food still good, but crazy busy

I've been going to all 3 Terroni (Terronis?) for over a dozen years and have to say that they've been able to keep up the quality of the food over the long haul and keep raking in the customers. Which is maybe one of the pitfalls of success: mo' people, mo' problems. We were at the Queen Street location on a Tuesday around 7:30 and the line was out the door. They wouldn't seat us until our entire party was there (hey, am I lying if I tell you that I need a table for 4?) and they sat us right at the front near the door. This is probably just bad design but when the line is long, people squeezing by tend to wipe out the food/wine on that table. Good thing it wasn't too cold that night or we'd have frozen ourselves as the door opened and closed. I can understand that they want to squeeze the max out of each table and turn them as often as they can, but really... So the food was good as always and the service is cheery if a bit harried, as you may well expect, but be prepared for the crowds.

Relax and Enjoy

I love everyone of the Terroni locations in the city. The atmosphere is relaxing and casual at all three. The Queen street location feels the most authentic, as if you are in a little Italian bistro, Victoria street is much larger and serve an on the go festival/theater crowd and Balmoral is great for families. The pizza is thin crust with fresh ingredients the way pizza should be made.
