Opera House (The)

the opera house is located in a sketchy area. it's been a while since i've been there, but i remember the building being really cool. drinks are cheap and people are there to listen to music and get drunk. the acoustics aren't that wonderful. not the best place to listen to live music.

the opera house is one of the worst venues in toronto for live music. the bouncers are aggressive and irrational and i have seen many shows ruined by their behavior and the ensuing reaction of concert goers. it is actually a great space, lofty and huge, but the acoustics aren't so hot and the atmosphere has always felt a little shady.
