Nicholas Hoare Ltd

I don't mind Indigo or Chapters, but they feel less like bookstores inside than they do like book shopping malls. Nicholas Hoare smells like books, sounds like creaking floorboards and flipping pages, and looks like a giant, comfortable study. Nice.

This is an enjoyable little book store for wandering and browsing. They have an interesting selection that you wouldn't necessarily find at the other larger chains. They also have a great children's section.
