Black Creek Pioneer Village

I had never been to Black Creek as a child, and was pleasently surprised at how nice it was. The kids had lots of fun walking through the village, and looking at the animals. My son loved the mill and the roosters were funny!

the little 19th-century village that brings you back to the times when there was no MTV because there was no electricity! the costumes & houses so realistic and the kids go crazy learning about them good ol' days. my fave was always the black smith dude. and admission is really cheap too

black creek pioneer village is just what it sounds like; a re-enactment village of pioneer times featuring all the professions of the townspeople. you can visit an old house, schoolhouse and farm, a blacksmith or candlemaker or a seamstress. there is an old printing press and mapmaker, plus tons of tasty foods to try and great gifts and collectibles to buy at the gift shop.
