Aberfoyle Mill Restaurant

I highly recommend The Aberfoyle Mill Inn! I first visited this beautiful "old mill" that was converted into a fine dining restaurant, back in the late 60's. I was taken aback because of the charming setting, the magnificent building that was built over 150 years ago. It has the largest wine cellar with the best collection of vintage wines I've seen in a long time, the old Wheel from the mill is still running in the lower basement. The fireplace in the main dining area is over 12' high and crackles during a quiet and romantic dinner on a cold winter's night. It's very magical in this building and it takes you back in time. The food is superb, especially their AAA Angus Sirloin steak, their Duck Confit, Pork Tenderloin, New Zealand rack of lamb and their mouth-watering escargot and more! It is so therapeutic to visit the Aberfoyle Inn. The service is great and it really makes you not want to leave. Prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend that you visit this fantastic little get-away. I guarantee that you will enjoy it and be returning all the time.
