East on Queen

In an up and coming area of Toronto's east end called The Beach I heard about their One Year Anniversary party from a friend of mine and went to check them out to see what all the talk was about. By far this is one of the best casual lounges in the area. East on Queen offers a casual dining lounge experience with a great atmosphere and even better food. The staff is extremely friendly so if you’re ever riding the Queen Streetcar in The Beaches and are looking for a great place to grab a few drinks, check out this amazing lounge for yourself!

Ok, I am not one to review on-line. I just go where I have an amazing time. However, East on Queen doesn't have any comments yet as it is still very new, apparently, and they should. I was just there for dinner this past thursday meeting a friend who lives in the Beach. Its run by a young couple who have, obviously, put their heart and soul into the place...considering what a dive it was before when it was 2066... the food was fantastic, they have a good, strong wine list ( and cocktails...it was a good tnight) and above all, affordable. you get quality for a good price. I don't get to the area very often. But those that do..that live there..go and check them out. I would hate to see this little place not make it. The Beach needs restaurants like East!
