fressen has both fresh, delicious food and a great space to serve it in! the decor is very urban and modern to match the sophisticated menu and cocktails. there is often great music at night provided by some of toronto's best hip hop djs and doubles as a lounge. the food is incredible, in particular the enormous breakfast plates, most of which come with crispy tempeh bacon, homemade jam and fresh guacamole.

I am not a vegan or even a vegetarian, but I can't deny I love the food at this place. The menu is filled with creative dishes that not only come to your plate looking good but full of tastes and flavours.
