 Poetry in glass is the best way to describe the work and products of the ANDET Glass Form & Design studios.Operating since 1998 as ANDET Glass Form & Design, the team of Detlef and Gaby Gotzens creates incredibly beautiful glass applications by combining centuries old techniques and state of the art technology. Originally from Germany, they were trained and apprenticed in the traditional ways of the Glass Guild in the City of Cologne. In 1977 Detlef achieved his masters degree after completing his studies at the School for Glass Technology and Design, and subsequently reached the highest level of expertise and skill in this field. Since 1978, we have worked on numerous European, American, and Canadian projects, including local Montreal landmarks such as St. Joseph's Oratory and Christ Church Cathedral. Our strength is combining art and technique, and our philosophy is to create beauty while not sacrificing quality in either craftsmanship or materials. From the intricate restoration of irreplaceable stained glass windows to the creation and installation of a glass addition to a building, our work is of the highest calibre. We offer our services to the professional design and architectural communities and to private clients in Quebec and Ontario. Our business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. |
